The GFP 220C 20" Compact Cold Laminator brings professional pressure-sensitive lamination and mounting capability to desktop print-and-cut environments, small sign shops, photo studios, copy centers and graphics businesses where space is at a premium.
With a 20" laminating width, variable speeds up to 11.5 ft/min, 2.5" rubber rollers, Quick-Grip supply shaft and direct-drive liner rewind, the GFP 220C provides a major productivity upgrade over applying laminate manually with rollers or squeegees while requiring very little production space.
The 20" working width makes the GFP 220C an excellent finishing partner for desktop and compact printer/cutters. Printed graphics can be protected with pressure-sensitive overlaminate before contour cutting, giving shops an efficient workflow for producing durable decals, labels, stickers and other finished graphics in-house.
For businesses that don't need a 30", 55" or 63" laminator, the 220C provides professional powered finishing without dedicating unnecessary floor space to oversized equipment.
The GFP 220C is designed for pressure-sensitive overlaminates, mounting adhesives, pre-mask tapes and other PSA films. No heated roller system is required, keeping operation straightforward while powered rollers provide more consistent pressure and production speed than manual finishing methods.
Variable speeds up to 11.5 ft/min allow operators to adjust the machine for different materials and applications while significantly increasing productivity compared with hand lamination.
Forward and reverse operation provides additional control during setup and production, while run and foot-pedal operation allow the operator to choose the control method best suited to the job.
The GFP 220C uses 2.5" rubber main rollers to apply smooth, consistent pressure across pressure-sensitive graphics. Hand-wheel adjustment provides straightforward control over the roller gap for different films and mounting substrates.
The 220C isn't limited to flexible graphics. Its roller gap opens to a maximum of 1/2", allowing printed graphics and pressure-sensitive mounting adhesives to be applied to compatible rigid boards and substrates.
This expands the machine beyond overlamination into sign mounting, POP displays, presentation graphics, photo mounting and other rigid graphic applications.
A 3" Quick-Grip supply shaft simplifies loading pressure-sensitive films and helps reduce setup time between jobs. The machine accommodates supply rolls up to 6" in outside diameter, while single-knob tension adjustment provides straightforward control over film feed.
An integrated direct-drive liner rewind collects the release liner removed from pressure-sensitive laminate during application. Keeping liner waste controlled helps create a cleaner workspace and makes longer laminating jobs easier to manage.
Note: The liner rewind collects backing liner from the laminate. It is not a rear output rewind for collecting finished laminated graphics.
The included foot pedal lets operators control the laminator while keeping both hands available to align, position and guide graphics. This is especially useful when mounting individual prints or starting a new laminating job.
The GFP 220C is designed specifically for production environments where space matters. The laminator itself measures approximately 16" x 22" x 38" and weighs approximately 103 lb., allowing it to operate as a compact tabletop finishing system.
An optional GFP mobile stand with casters is available separately for shops that prefer a dedicated floor-standing workstation.

The primary difference is size and format. The 220C provides 20" of laminating width in a compact tabletop design, while the 230C expands capacity to 30" and includes a floor stand. Shops primarily finishing 20" and narrower output can choose the 220C without paying for additional width and floor-standing capacity they may not need.
Because the GFP 220C does not require a heated roller, electrical requirements are minimal. The machine operates on standard 110V power at just 0.4 amps and consumes approximately 38 watts, making it easy to add to an existing office, print shop or production environment.
