The Roland VersaOBJECT RC-300 Series brings purpose-built helical UV printing to professional cylindrical product decoration. Designed for bottles, tumblers, drinkware, containers and other round products, the RC-300 Series produces seamless 360° graphics directly onto the object without relying on labels, sleeves or a conventional rotary attachment.
With industrial-grade Gen 6 printheads, Roland DG Smart Jet Control, durable EUV-H UV inks and support for straight, tapered and curved-profile objects, the RC-300 Series provides a powerful production platform for personalized products, premium packaging, limited editions, short-run manufacturing and high-value direct-to-object printing.
Unlike conventional rotary systems that print an object in multiple step-by-step passes, the RC-300 Series directly grips and rotates the object while graphics are printed continuously in a spiral motion. This helical printing technology produces seamless 360° graphics without a visible joint while supporting faster, more precise production across a broader range of cylindrical shapes.

The RC-300 is the versatile choice for businesses that want to decorate a broad range of cylindrical products. It supports straight, tapered, convex and concave shapes and is especially well suited for solid-color and opaque objects such as tumblers, drinkware, containers, specialty bottles and other custom products.
The RC-300c Clear Support Model is specialized for direct printing on transparent and translucent products, including clear and liquid-filled bottles. It is an excellent choice for beverage, cosmetic and packaging businesses that want to decorate clear bottles without relying on conventional labels or sleeves.
Both models can also support pre-filled and pre-labeled production workflows for compatible applications, giving businesses additional flexibility for personalization, limited editions and post-production customization.
The RC-300 Series goes beyond basic straight-wall cylindrical printing. Roland DG Smart Jet Control uses a built-in laser displacement sensor to measure the distance between the printhead and object surface and dynamically adjust ink jetting as the shape changes.
This enables smooth, precise printing on a variety of profiles including parallel, tapered, convex and concave objects, with support for surface height variations up to 7 mm in addition to the standard printhead gap.
Two industrial-grade Gen 6 printheads provide the performance needed for professional cylindrical production. The multi-channel printhead system is designed to handle durable, higher-viscosity UV inks while providing stable ink placement, vivid color and fine detail.
The RC-300 Series can jet ink across surface variations of up to 10 mm, helping maintain consistent output across challenging cylindrical and contoured products.
The RC-300 Series uses Roland EUV-H hard UV ink supplied in high-capacity 1-liter bottles. The eight-channel CMYKWhWhGlPr configuration combines Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black with dual White, Gloss and jettable Primer for versatile product decoration.
EUV-H inks are engineered for durable direct-to-object applications where abrasion and solvent resistance are important.
The RC-300 Series is designed to reduce setup time and operator steps. Enter the object's dimensions using the integrated 7-inch full-color touchscreen and the printer automatically establishes the appropriate base position.
Up to 50 object presets can be stored directly on the printer, making it easy to switch between frequently produced products without repeating the complete alignment process. Repeat production functions can also be accessed directly from the printer for a faster workflow.
An integrated LED pointer helps operators accurately establish the print origin and printing area. This makes the RC-300 Series useful for adding graphics, personalization or variable information to products that have already been labeled or decorated.
Compatible pre-filled cans and bottles weighing up to 6.6 lb. can also be printed, opening opportunities for limited editions, special events, personalized packaging and post-production customization.
Included Roland VersaWorks 7 software simplifies preparation of cylindrical and tapered graphics. Designers can work from a conventional square or rectangular artboard while VersaWorks adjusts the artwork for the dimensions and shape of the object, including the calculations needed for seamless 360° printing on tapered products.
Roland DG Connect and Roland DG Connect Designer further streamline design, production monitoring, device management and workflow visibility.
