Color designs usually look good on white substrates like t-shirts or white coffee cups, but when you put the design on top of dark colored backgrounds, that color shows through and “deadens” the color of the design. Bright colors turn dull or contrasts in designs turn muddy or disappear.

The HP + Ghost White Toner printing solution uses white toner to create a high opacity white layer of “background” under the color design when it is transferred to the substrate. This preserves the power of the color in the original design.
