The GFP 663TH 63" Top Heat Laminator combines production-level wide format finishing with intelligent controls designed to reduce setup time, improve consistency and simplify operation. GFP's Smart Finishing Technology gives operators centralized touchscreen control while electronic roller gap and pressure adjustment, integrated slitting, swing-out shafts and a motorized rear rewind streamline demanding finishing workflows.
With a 63" laminating width, speeds up to 20 ft/min and top heat assist up to 140°F, the GFP 663TH is built for professional print and sign shops producing laminated graphics, vehicle graphics, displays, signage and mounted output every day.
The 663TH replaces conventional manual machine setup with GFP's advanced digital microcontroller system. A large 10" touchscreen interface gives operators easy access to machine functions and settings from one central control point.
Smart Finishing features are designed to improve operator efficiency, accuracy and repeatability while reducing the opportunity for setup errors.
An electric servo motor and positioning system provide precise control over roller gap position and nip pressure. Instead of relying solely on manual pressure adjustments, operators can establish more controlled and repeatable machine settings for different films, graphics and mounting applications.
This automation is especially valuable in production environments where multiple operators, frequent application changes and repeat jobs make consistent machine setup important.
The GFP 663TH features a heated top roller with temperatures up to 140°F. Heat softens pressure-sensitive laminate adhesive as it enters the nip, helping improve adhesive flow and reduce the silvering that can occur when laminating printed graphics.
The result is smoother, cleaner finished output while retaining the versatility of a pressure-sensitive wide format laminating system.
A motorized rear rewind is included with the GFP 663TH, allowing finished graphics to be collected as they exit the laminator. This creates a more efficient roll-to-roll workflow for long graphics and production runs while reducing the amount of finished material operators need to manually manage.
The 663TH goes beyond lamination by incorporating rotary inline side slitters. Finished graphics can be edge-trimmed during the laminating process, eliminating a separate finishing step for compatible jobs and helping increase overall production efficiency.
Swing-out supply and rewind shafts provide easier access when loading and unloading rolls. Rather than repeatedly removing shafts from the machine, operators can swing them outward for faster material changes and setup.
