The GFP 363TH 63" Top Heat Laminator gives sign shops, print providers and graphics producers an affordable step into professional heat-assisted wide format finishing. Designed for pressure-sensitive overlamination, mounting and board pre-coating, the 363TH combines a 63" working width with top heat, speeds up to 20 ft/min and an integrated rear rewind for efficient roll-to-roll production.
Its straightforward controls, rugged construction, Quick-Grip film shafts and included stand and foot pedal make the GFP 363TH an excellent choice for shops that need dependable production capability without the cost and complexity of a more automated finishing system.
The GFP 363TH adds top heat up to 122°F to help improve the performance of pressure-sensitive overlaminates. Applying controlled heat at the roller nip promotes adhesive flow and bonding while helping reduce the silvering that can appear when laminate adhesive has not completely wet out against the printed surface.
Top heat also makes the 363TH well suited for professional finishing workflows involving digitally printed graphics, mounting and board pre-coating.
A 63" maximum laminating width gives the GFP 363TH the capacity required for professional wide format graphics production. Its working width is well suited for finishing output from popular 54", 60" and similar wide format printers used for signs, vehicle graphics, displays and other commercial graphics.
With laminating speeds up to 20 ft/min, the 363TH delivers productive finishing performance for both individual graphics and longer production runs.
Variable speed operation allows the operator to balance throughput with the requirements of the laminate, print and application.
The GFP 363TH includes an integrated rear output rewind for roll-to-roll applications. Finished graphics can be collected as they exit the laminator, reducing manual handling and making long runs easier for the operator to manage.
An integrated top liner rewind simultaneously collects the release liner removed from pressure-sensitive laminate, helping keep the production area organized during operation.
Large 5" diameter main rollers increase dwell time as the graphic passes through the nip, helping apply the heat and pressure required for consistent lamination.
Hand-wheel pressure adjustment provides straightforward control over roller pressure and gap, allowing operators to dial in the machine for different graphics, films and mounting substrates.
The GFP 363TH isn't limited to roll-to-roll lamination. A maximum 1" roller gap allows printed graphics to be applied to compatible rigid boards and substrates for signs, displays, photographs and presentation graphics.
This combination of overlamination and mounting capability allows one machine to handle multiple finishing operations within the shop.
GFP's 3" aluminum Quick-Grip film shafts are designed to make laminate loading and alignment faster and easier. Integrated width measurements help operators position rolls correctly during setup, reducing unnecessary time between jobs.
The swing-up feed table provides convenient access to the roller area when loading and webbing the laminator. Once the machine is ready for production, the table provides a stable working surface for feeding graphics into the roller nip.
