Powered by dual EPSON i1600 printheads, the DHi1600 delivers significantly higher throughput than single-head systems while maintaining excellent image quality and color consistency. The printer supports print speeds up to 35 square feet per hour and can produce approximately 180 shirts per day depending on artwork coverage, print mode, and workflow setup.
The integrated trimmer makes it easy to separate individual transfers for manual powdering and curing, making the DHi1600 an excellent choice for on-demand production environments. When paired with a compatible powder shaker and curing unit, the trimmer can be raised to support continuous production workflows.
White ink performance is critical to successful DTF production. The DHi1600 incorporates active white ink circulation, stirring, and monitoring systems designed to keep white ink moving throughout the system and reduce settling. A dedicated blue status indicator provides instant visual confirmation that white ink circulation systems are functioning properly.
The DHi1600 continuously monitors critical operating conditions to help prevent interruptions and improve production confidence. Ink level sensors monitor all CMYK and white ink tanks while integrated alarms alert operators before levels become critically low. Waste ink monitoring further helps prevent overflow situations during extended production runs.
Additional inspection lighting under the exit tray allows operators to view printed layers through the film during active printing, providing an extra level of quality control throughout production.
Built-in obstruction sensors monitor for film buckling and foreign objects that could potentially cause printhead strikes. If an issue is detected, the printer automatically stops operation to help protect the printheads. An emergency stop button provides additional safety and machine protection when immediate intervention is required.
The DHi1600 includes Gallery DTF RIP v12 and PrintExp software at no additional cost. Together, these applications provide color management, print processing, printer communication, maintenance controls, and production management features required for professional DTF workflows.
