Bring the classic look of neon into modern signmaking with the G2G X-Neon Series 8mm Acrylic Tube LED Lighting Solution. Designed to recreate the distinctive glow of traditional glass neon, X-Neon combines 360-degree LED illumination with rigid, heat-bendable acrylic tubing to create custom illuminated lettering, logos, shapes, and architectural accents.
Operating on 24V DC, X-Neon provides high-density LED illumination in a slim 8mm (5/16") tube. With seven available colors, 1-inch cut intervals, and IP65-rated protection, it offers signmakers a versatile alternative to conventional neon for indoor and appropriately installed outdoor applications.
Unlike conventional LED strips that primarily emit light in one direction, X-Neon provides 360-degree illumination around its acrylic tube. This creates the fully illuminated appearance associated with traditional neon signage, making it ideal for exposed lettering, decorative outlines, and dimensional lighting designs.
The rigid acrylic construction can be heated and shaped into custom curves and lettering. The slim 8mm diameter is especially useful for detailed designs, compact signage, and decorative lighting applications where precise shapes are important.
G2G recommends a heat gun temperature of 482–572°F (250–300°C), with an approximate heating time of 30 seconds for 8mm tubing. Follow the manufacturer's bending instructions and observe the specified minimum bend radius to prevent damage.

X-Neon operates on 24V DC and consumes approximately 3.6 watts per foot (12W/m). Its high-density LED configuration delivers 293 LEDs per foot (960 LEDs/m), supporting smooth illumination along the tube.
With IP65-rated protection and an operating temperature range of -4°F to +122°F (-20°C to +50°C), X-Neon can be incorporated into a variety of indoor and outdoor sign applications when installed according to manufacturer requirements.
Standard X-Neon sections measure 4 feet in length, with 1-inch cut intervals for customizing project dimensions. Custom lengths are also available through G2G. Compatible mounting supports and an appropriately sized 24V DC power supply should be selected for the installation.
X-Neon requires a compatible 24V DC power supply. Plan power requirements based on the total installed length and follow G2G's instructions for cutting, bending, wiring, mounting, and weather protection. Use appropriate mounting hardware and ensure electrical connections are protected for the intended installation environment.
Important: X-Neon is a heat-bendable rigid acrylic product, not conventional flexible LED neon strip lighting. Follow G2G's recommended heating and bending procedures. Confirm included accessories and power supply requirements before purchasing.
