Create bold, eye-catching illuminated signs with the G2G X-Neon Series 12mm Acrylic Tube LED Lighting Solution. Designed to reproduce the distinctive appearance of traditional glass neon, X-Neon combines 360-degree LED illumination with rigid, heat-bendable acrylic tubing for custom lettering, logos, architectural accents, and decorative lighting.
Featuring a larger 12mm (1/2") tube diameter, X-Neon provides a more substantial illuminated profile than the 8mm version, making it an excellent choice for prominent signage and bold visual designs. With seven available colors, 24V DC operation, and IP65-rated protection, it offers a versatile modern alternative to conventional neon lighting.
X-Neon delivers illumination around the entire circumference of its acrylic tube, creating the fully illuminated appearance associated with traditional glass neon. This makes it ideal for exposed lettering, dimensional logos, decorative outlines, and illuminated architectural details.
The larger 12mm diameter creates a bold visual profile that works especially well for signage where visibility and visual impact are important.
Unlike conventional flexible LED neon strips, X-Neon uses rigid acrylic tubing that can be heated and formed into custom curves and shapes. This allows signmakers to create precise lettering, decorative patterns, and unique illuminated designs.
G2G recommends a heat gun temperature of 482–572°F (250–300°C), with an approximate heating time of 50 seconds for 12mm tubing. Follow the manufacturer's bending instructions and maintain the specified minimum bend radius of 1/2" (12mm).

X-Neon operates on 24V DC and consumes approximately 3.6 watts per foot (12W/m). Its high-density LED configuration features 293 LEDs per foot (960 LEDs/m), supporting smooth illumination along the acrylic tube.
With an IP65 protection rating and operating temperature range of -4°F to +122°F (-20°C to +50°C), X-Neon can be used in a variety of indoor and appropriately installed outdoor lighting applications.
Standard X-Neon sections measure 4 feet in length, with 1-inch cut intervals for customizing project dimensions. Custom lengths are also available through G2G.
The rigid acrylic design can be paired with compatible mounting supports to create custom illuminated signs and architectural lighting installations. An appropriately sized 24V DC power supply is required.
X-Neon requires a compatible 24V DC power supply. Plan electrical requirements based on the total installed length and follow G2G's instructions for cutting, bending, wiring, mounting, and weather protection.
Important: X-Neon is a heat-bendable rigid acrylic lighting product, not conventional flexible LED neon strip lighting. Follow the manufacturer's recommended heating and bending procedures. Confirm included accessories and power supply requirements before purchasing.
