Product Overview
The DTF Station Vega S17 DTF Print Production System combines printing, automatic powder application, curing, cutting and stacking into one compact production workflow. This complete package adds the supplies and RIP software needed to get your Vega S17 operation started, making it an ideal solution for apparel decorators and print shops bringing professional DTF transfer production in-house.
Instead of managing a printer, separate shaker, curing oven and cutter as individual pieces of equipment, the Vega S17 integrates the complete production process into a single stacked system. Send the artwork and the Vega S17 automatically prints, powders, cures, cuts and stacks finished DTF transfer sheets ready for the heat press.
The Vega S17 is designed to reduce the number of manual steps between sending a print job and pressing a finished transfer. Film travels through an integrated production workflow that automatically handles:
Finished sheets drop directly into the integrated stacker, allowing the operator to spend less time tending the DTF line and more time pressing garments, preparing orders and handling other production tasks.
The Vega S17 uses industrial Ricoh piezoelectric drop-on-demand printheads with stainless-steel faces. Its dual-carriage print architecture provides 4 color, 2 white and 2 cleaning channels with resolution up to 600 x 600 dpi.
The system accepts 17" (432 mm) roll film and provides a maximum printable image width of 15.5" (394 mm). A motorized auto-tension unwinder, edge-driven pinch rollers and supported film path help keep media stable throughout production.
The Vega S17 uses DTF Station's Color Prime Chroma water-based pigment ink system with sealed, pump-fed ink cartridges. The production ink system combines CMYK printing with dedicated White ink channels for professional DTF transfer production.
White ink maintenance is one of the most important parts of operating a DTF printer. The Vega S17 helps automate this process with hourly white-ink circulation, scheduled printhead cleaning and automatic wet capping after extended idle periods.
These integrated maintenance functions reduce the number of routine processes that depend on an operator remembering to perform them manually.
The Vega S17 Glue Station replaces traditional open powder handling with a sealed cartridge-based TPU adhesive powder system. Powder is automatically metered onto the printed film using a rotating paddle, while excess powder is captured inside the machine.
A 2.4 lb. powder cartridge is designed to process approximately one 328 ft. roll of film at 50% ink coverage, helping synchronize consumable changes during normal production.
After powder application, transfers move through an enclosed conveyor heater bed with four independently controlled curing zones. A PID-controlled heating system maintains a default curing temperature of approximately 320°F (160°C) automatically.
Because the curing environment is controlled by the system, operators do not need to continually adjust curing temperatures between jobs.
Powdering and curing take place inside an enclosed finishing system with integrated filtration. The Vega S17 uses de-mist and medium filtration followed by HEPA and activated-carbon filtration to capture fumes and fine adhesive powder inside the machine.
DTF Station specifies that external ventilation ducting is not required, simplifying installation compared with many conventional open shaker and curing configurations.
An integrated shuttle cutter automatically trims finished transfers in approximately 0.8 seconds per cut. Sheet length can be selected from approximately 10" to 19.7", allowing finished sheets to be sized around the job and heat press workflow.
Cut sheets are automatically squared and delivered into an integrated stacker capable of holding up to 100 finished transfer sheets. The stacker can also be removed when longer continuous output is preferred.
The Vega S17 uses a folded film path with the print section mounted above the finishing section rather than positioning each component in a long horizontal production line.
The complete system occupies a footprint of approximately 67.1" wide x 31.4" deep. At only 31.4" deep, the machine is also designed to pass through a standard doorway, making professional DTF production practical in shops where floor space is valuable.
Included neoStampa RIP Software – Delta DTF Station Edition provides the RIP workflow for preparing artwork and sending production jobs to the Vega S17. The software completes the digital side of this production package, providing a workflow from artwork preparation through finished DTF transfer output.
This production package includes DTF supplies to help get your new Vega S17 into production. Combined with the included printer, Glue Station and neoStampa RIP software, the supply package provides the essential consumables needed to begin producing DTF transfers.

This Vega S17 package goes beyond purchasing the printer alone. By combining the Vega S17 printer, automated Glue Station, DTF supplies and neoStampa RIP software, it provides a more complete starting point for building an in-house DTF transfer operation.
From printing and powdering through curing, cutting and stacking, the Vega S17 is designed to automate the repetitive production steps that traditionally require separate equipment and constant operator attention.
PLEASE NOTE: You must be able to receive a small freight shipment. In most cases, this printer can be delivered via a lift-gate. However, it's the buyers responsibility to determine if they can receive the shipment via lift-gate before purchase. Buyer assumes all responsibility for delivery and delivery costs, additional services, handling fees, equipment rentals, or any additional costs associated with transport of the cargo (to include re-routing, inside delivery, or returns).
