The GF 222 from General Formulations is a 6.0 mil semi-rigid polymeric matte white calendared vinyl film featuring a clear permanent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is laminated to a 90# lay-flat release liner to ensure excellent handling during printing and finishing. The film is optimized for wide-format digital inks including solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV curable, making it a versatile choice across digital print workflows.
The GF 222 is ideal when you need a print-receptive vinyl with the look and permanence of a rigid graphic—but with the roll-to-roll convenience of vinyl. It’s well suited for indoor and exterior signage, panel decals, architectural displays, nameplates, and point-of-purchase graphics. Because of its semi-rigid structure, it’s especially good for applications where flatness is critical or where a heavier film assists in handling.
For best results, ensure your substrate is properly prepared (clean, smooth, and paint-compatible). Use recommended inks and curing processes, and consider an over-laminate if additional abrasion or chemical resistance is needed.
