Product Overview
The Gallery F1080 is the cornerstone of the new Gen2 series of purpose built DTF printers. Designed from the ground up to meet the needs of small to medium shops that need production quality print results.
Everything you need to get started in included with the printer. Ink, Powder, Film, Software, Cleaning Kit, Online Training, all at no extra cost.
With full 13-inch print width and print speeds of up to 13 square ft/hour, the Gallery F1080 supports typical output of 65-88 shirts per day. Printing speed varies depending on resolution selected. Print width up to 13 inches.
The built in trimmer allows one-at-a-time prints to be easily cut so they can be individually powdered and cured for on-demand jobs. The trimmer can simply be raised when the F1080 is connected inline to a powder shaker when larger jobs are in process.
The Gallery exclusive Blue LED on the front panel shows that the White Ink Management System is in full working order. The Blue LED is solid ON when all White Ink systems report HEALTHY status and the LED blinks blue whenever stirring or circulation is active.
All ink tank levels (CMYK+W) are actively monitored and will sound an alarm well before the ink is too low to print, thus allowing ink refill during active printing.
No more lost prints due to an ink tank running out in the middle of a print. Green LED means OK and individual ink LEDs turn Red if user intervention is needed.
The waste ink tank also has an alarm to help avoid overflow situations. No need for hard to find batteries since alarm power comes from the motherboard.
DTF film typically shows only the White layer as it exits the printer. A special purpose LED under the exit tray allows through-film viewing of the bottom layers during active printing.
Additionally, a confidence strip showing CMYK colors can be printed beside the printed image to display each color actually being printed.
The Green LED on the front panel is solid Green when the printer is READY - the LED blinks Green when actively head cleaning and turns Red if user intervention is needed.
This allows for across-the-room printer status at a glance. Similarly, the front window allows the user to easily see carriage printhead movement.
If the cover is opened, the inside LED stays focused on the work area (not the ceiling or in your eyes). Everything has been designed with ease of use in mind.
Printhead strikes can lead to costly replacement. The F1080 carriage has forward and reverse sensors that will stop the printer if the film buckles or there is a foreign object in the way.
An emergency stop button is located just above the front left control panel for extra safety.
The F1080 ships with Gallery DTF RIP and PrintExp, both of which are Windows compatible. (MAC not supported).
Communications between the software applications and to the printer occur via TCP/IP using an included USB to Ethernet adapter cable.

The purpose of the DTF Powder Application Shaker is to ensure uniform and consistent coverage of the adhesive powder on the printed design. This powder serves as a bonding agent that allows the design to adhere to the fabric when heat and pressure are applied in the next step of the DTF printing process. The DTF Powder Shaker is an essential component of the DTF printing process because it helps ensure that the adhesive powder is applied uniformly, which contributes to the quality and durability of the final printed design on the fabric.
