General Formulations GF 106 is a premium 1.0mil optically clear polyester mounting film designed for face-mounting graphics to glass, acrylic, Plexiglas, and other clear substrates. This double-coated pressure-sensitive mounting film features optically clear permanent solvent acrylic adhesive on both sides, creating a clean, transparent bond that preserves the visual integrity of printed graphics.
Its ultra-clear polyester construction allows prints and transparencies to be mounted without haze or distortion, making GF 106 an ideal solution for high-visibility display graphics where clarity and image quality are critical.
GF 106 utilizes permanent solvent acrylic adhesive on both sides of the polyester carrier film to create a durable, long-lasting bond between graphics and rigid substrates. The optically clear adhesive system maintains transparency while providing dependable adhesion for display and signage applications.
Two 1.5mil polyester release liners protect the adhesive layers and preserve optical clarity until installation. This dual-liner construction also helps ensure consistent lamination performance when running through professional cold laminators.
This mounting film is designed for laminating thin flexible films and papers with a total thickness of up to 10 mils. GF 106 can be applied using standard pressure-sensitive laminators without the need for heat, allowing print providers and sign shops to efficiently mount graphics while maintaining professional results.
The film offers protection from UV exposure, abrasion, moisture, and environmental factors while maintaining excellent transparency across the finished graphic. Under typical conditions, the product provides outdoor durability of up to one year.
