Product Overview
Clean Cut Premium Roland ZECU-45° blade. Precision-ground in the USA from premium-grade carbide, this 45° blade features a finely polished edge brazed to a hardened steel blank. It’s a direct replacement —offering the same OEM shape with sharper performance and longer life.
Blade angle determines how deep and how cleanly a material is cut. A 45° blade is ideal for standard cutting jobs—like cast or calendared vinyl and heat transfer vinyl—thanks to its more horizontal angle and even wear.
For thicker or specialty materials, a 60° blade may be preferred due to its steeper angle, which penetrates deeper and reduces issues like vinyl “ears” during detailed cuts. But using a 60° blade for everyday work can shorten blade life unnecessarily.
Stick with a 45° blade when possible—it provides the best balance of precision, durability, and cost-efficiency for daily cutting tasks.
